How to build the Drone with components made by 3DP.




  This  show you how to build the drone designed by myself with  3D printer.

   My Drone's Axis distance is 406mm,You need to prepare the 4   6mmX6mmX200mm square carbon    fiber pipes.and This sample  used A2212 1400kv motors ,Xrotor 20A ESC.APM 2.8 controller with AV ball.Regarding Battery,It use Phoenix 5000mha Lipo. It can fly about 20 minutes .
 

<picture 1>There are the motor's docks(Motor_dock.stl).you can lock your motors on this dock.
                  This sample used  A2212 1400kv motor.



<picture 2> This sample used the 6mmx6mm square carbon fiber pipe as drone's Arms.later you can put on your motors and ESC like below <picture 5>. (ESC.stl +Motor_dock.stl)


<picture 3> connect the controller platform(platform.stl) and Drone's arms like below.
this is the Drone's up side.


 <picture 4> Below picture show how to put on the  ESC.This sample used XRotor 20A ESC.


 <picture 5>Put on the motors and ESC .This is the body back side.



<picture 6>Put on the power supply board on the back side.Don't need to Weld something just connect your ESC power lines and signal lines on this board.I think it is so convenient.

<Picture 8> Now,you can put your APM controller on this platform (platform.stl).and if you want to put the GPS Module ,you can set up the 2 pillars then put the GPS platform(GPS_platform.stl) with GPS Module .also see <Picture 16>



<Picture 9> Now,the weight about 431g.

<Picture 10>After put on the APM comtroller and other electron components.Now,Compelete the Drone's    UP side .


<Picture 11> This is the Drone's Leg (Leg.stl) and Battery box(Battery_box.stl).


<Picture 12> When you connect the  Drone's Leg (Leg.stl) and Battery box(Battery_box.stl),it  is better put some Anti-vibration material with screw on the joints.Orelse it is easy broken.This is the Drone's down side.

<Picture 13> Finally,just use the  I_connect (I.stl) to connect the Drone UP side (Picture 10)and Down side (Picture 12).

<Picture 14> completed.




<Picture 15> The left side leg is another type with Carbon fiber pipe.just  for reference.In fact the weight is the same against right side.


<Picture 16> You can put the GPS on the GPS platform (GPS_platfrom.stl).


 <Picture 17>IF your GPS  module without case.,You can put the GPS on the GPS case(GPS_case.stl).this sample is Ublox M8N.
